There are approximately 7000 languages in the world and up to 10 of them are international (i.e. used by a large number of people in their day-to-day communication). However, English is still the first international one, spoken by 1 in 7 people on Earth and being the language of business, politics, technology, pop culture etc. Of course, not all of those millions of speakers have perfect language skills, but all the more valuable are those ones who do have them! All the benefits could hardly be enumerated: good career prospects, a wide circle of contacts, cultural exchange, fewer problems during trips etc. As a matter of fact, English opens many doors for you and sometimes helps you fulfill your dreams.
But to make sure it doesn’t look like a mere cliché, we’d like to add some other interesting facts about the advantages of learning English:

It can be proved by the fact that no matter your industry (manufacturing, retail trade, finance and insurance, construction, transportation or any other one), 60-100% of companies believe this language is important for their employees, test their potential workers for English proficiency, and expect the need for English to increase in the next 3 years.
- FACT #2
English is the language of development and great opportunities, as it is the most used Internet language at the moment (27% out of 100% of languages used). Moreover, it’s also the language of science and technology as 80% of information stored on computers and 98% of all scientific articles published today are in English.
- FACT #3
Millions of people around the world dream of living in a prosperous country which would give them stability, social security and other important benefits. - FACT #4

That’s because modern entertainment industry becomes international once “it starts speaking English”, doesn’t it? That’s how it is and that’s one of those beautiful things which unite us – we share the same love for the same talented people and wonderful works or art which are a part of not only English-speaking but world culture. So, is there anyone who wouldn’t like to understand the meaning of those songs, read books or watch films in English?
- FACT #5
And last but not least, learning English as well as any other foreign language makes your brain work better. In fact, it’s like sport for it.
